Training stables Heřmanův Městec

In 1828, Prince Rudolf Kinský of Vichnice and Tetovo purchased the estate in Hřmanoměstec. This brought the princely Kinský family to the foothills of the Iron Mountains. In the training stables there is a unique preserved galleon room, which contains historical princely harnesses dating back almost 200 years, horse polo equipment and a set of unique historical saddles and period paintings.
The training stables in Heřmanův Městec underwent extensive reconstruction between 2021 and 2022. The aim of the reconstruction was to achieve the appearance of the complex as it was built at the end of the 19th century by Prince Kinský. However, the contemporary needs of horse training were also taken into account and some modifications were sensitively incorporated into the complex, especially a new covered circular riding arena and a circular horse trainer.
